It was a day like any other when I decided to take a cybersecurity session called "Hacking 101" at the College of Applied Science in Kundra, Kerala as part of the IHRD Tharang'23 event. This was the first talk of the year 2023, and I was excited to get started.
But little did I know, my plans were about to be turned upside down. Just hours before the session was set to begin, I took a fall and ended up with a broken leg, wrapped in a bandage. Most people would have called it quits, but I wasn't about to let a little thing like a broken leg stand in the way of my passion for cybersecurity.
So, with determination in my heart and my laptop by my side, I logged on to the online session and gave it my all. And let me tell you, it was an incredible experience.
The students at the College of Applied Science were so engaged and enthusiastic, and it was a pleasure to share my knowledge and experience with them. Despite the physical challenges I was facing, their enthusiasm and curiosity kept me going and made the session an absolute success.
This experience has reminded me that no matter what obstacles we face, we should never let them stand in the way of our goals and passions. If there's something you truly care about, go for it with everything you've got – and don't let anything hold you back.
I have to say, this incident would make a great story for a future TEDx talk if that ever happens. Here's hoping that this experience inspires others to pursue their passions and never give up, no matter what challenges may come their way. Happy learning, everyone!
